Our Local Lions clubs are located in all the towns in High desert. We have ongoing opportunities every week and month at events such as Street clean ups, crochet or knitting hats for homeless from home, plastic recycle, recycling opportunities, Eyeglass collecting and processing, vision fairs all over S Cali. collecting pull tabs and bottle caps, 5K volunteers, food drives coat drives, reading programs in person and on zoom. You name it and we probably do it! Bring your passion to serve and we will help find a place you can put your skills to work!

Description
We seek to assist those in need in the community. Curently our projects include
Gift of sight vision screening in November, Mask making and giveaways, Veterans needs projects and card writing, recycling of plastics film, bottle caps and pull tabs. Street clean ups,
Eyeglass collection and reprocessing, Strides 5K fun walk for diabetes awareness, food and clothing donations to shelters, canine companion, Easter basket and Christmas tree giveaways to the needy families, annual Trunk a treat event, Kidsight, Hearing aid and white cane programs, scholarship opportunities and speech, peace poster and essay contests annually.
