CoCA Curation/Graphic Design Internship
Immerse yourself in the art community as you gain valuable skills at CoCA, Center on Contemporary Art. Hands-on, project-based experience & mentoring. 10 hrs/week/ 6 months; flexible scheduling, in-person & remote work. CoCA warmly welcomes members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities.
- Must have art curation or exhibition experience
- Requires graphic design experience: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator
- Help curate CoCA ShowWalls(c)
- Aid in communication with artists & business owners
- Be onsite for 1 weekly gallery shift and ArtWalk events
CoCA, a 40+-year old art nonprofit, is a supportive, diverse & inclusive environment. Although this is an uncompensated role, school credit, Artist Membership & letters of recommendation are available. Email judith@cocaseattle.org , include resume & cover letter.

Seattle's Center on Contemporary Art (CoCA) serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art.
Description
CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 38+ years. Since 1980 CoCA has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area with the goal of increasing the approachability and understanding of contemporary art, while simultaneously building a supportive and stimulating environment for artists in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
