Recruiting Organization: Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue

We're a 501c-3 non-profit dog rescue based out of West Hollywood. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs from many different SoCal shelters before they are set to be euthanized and placing them with a foster home until we can find them a forever home. We do not have a facility where we board our pups, which is why volunteers are such a vital part of our mission to rescue these death row dogs.

We operate almost entirely through the use of donations - this even means our furry friends' food is donated! Wonderful people such as yourselves can even help prepare homemade meals for our adoption and supply events so that they can be provided to our fosters and their pups along with their dry food to help ensure they're happy and healthy!

Beef and Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 Cups Plain white rice (sushi/long grain, basmati)
• 4 Pounds ground Beef*
• Small Bag of Frozen Organic Peas and Carrots

* Use the leanest ground beef you can get (90% lean to 96% lean preferred)

Instructions:

• Cook rice in a pot, water should cover the rice 3 inches. Bring to Boil and stir.
• Add meat/veggies in raw stir in well put on lid and simmer.
• Simmer until water is absorbed.
• Let cool and freeze in zip locks.

Chicken and Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 Cups Plain white rice (sushi/long grain, basmati)
• 2 Pounds ground Chicken
• 2 Pounds ground Turkey
• Small Bag of Frozen Organic Peas and Carrots

Substitutions:

• If chicken is not available 4 Cups of Turkey in total is fine.
• Can add 1 pound of extra lean beef.

Instructions:

• Cook rice in a pot, water should cover the rice 3 inches. Bring to Boil and stir.
• Add meat/veggies in raw stir in well put on lid and simmer.
• Simmer until water is absorbed.
• Let cool and freeze in zip locks.
