Prevents Team - Note this position can be combined with the pharmacy coordinator and a volunteer can cover both positions on the same day. Or each position can be separate.
Team Description: Team is responsible for providing and recording prevents administered to foster dogs.
The Team Leader will record all prevents administered. The coordinator will help supply and record inventory and help coordinate the distribution of prevents to the satellite volunteer personnel. The team will coordinate distribution of medication to those unable to attend events.
Position Title : Prevents Coordinator
Position Description: The Prevents Coordinator reviews the prevent team emails to determine which fosters need help getting their monthly prevents. A Google map has been created with the location of each satellite volunteer that will then be notified by the assistant. This person will also help track volunteers that need additional inventory. Through email communications, this individual will facilitate the logistics between our satellite volunteer and the foster to get the prevents meds.
Qualifications for Position: Must have phone and internet access. Need to be computer-savvy. Internet for Cloud based database (iShelters), Must be able to work with Google apps: Gmail, Docs, sheets, and maps. . Must be detail-oriented, organized and dependable. Must be comfortable calling vets Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Must be good at handling emails.. An observation period and initial and ongoing training and support will be provided for volunteers .
Availability needed: Emails need to be checked at least 3 times daily-morning, early afternoon and evening. This is done daily

Team Description: Orders refills for currently needed foster medications. Maintains stock of AAU medication
Orders any needed AAU medications and refills. Maintains and manages AAU medication stock and distribution. Assures partner intake vet offices are stocked with medications.
Position Title : Pharmacy Team Coordinator
Position Description: The Pharmacy Coordinator will monitor the pharmacy team emails to fill requests for medications and refills. Handle urgent requests immediately. Answer questions regarding medications
Qualifications for Position: Must have phone and internet access. Need to be computer-savvy. Internet for Cloud based database (iShelters), Must be able to work with Google apps: Gmail, Docs, sheets, and maps. . Must be detail-oriented, organized and dependable. Must be comfortable calling vets Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Must be good at handling emails.. An observation period and initial and ongoing training and support will be provided for volunteers .
Availability needed: can take at least one day a week. Can check emails hourly and respond to Urgent requests in an hour and respond to other requests in a couple of hours. This email only averages 2 or 3 emails a day so it will not be a lot of work if you can respond quickly to an urgent refill request.
