• The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR or recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. The bulk of the role will involve employee orientations, recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers, conducting and scheduling staff meetings, and conflict resolution. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to assist in developing and refining the duties of direct reports job duties. Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
• Identify and recommend areas of improvement to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale. We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce. We are a small local non-profit who are in search of any individuals with experience in business, HR, employment specialist, management or supervisory work and has done work in the field of human and social services or education. This opportunity is scheduled to begin in July and volunteers will be needed Monday-Saturdays with anticipated hours between the times of 10am-6pm (schedules are flexible and can be designed to the volunteers availability).
