Pet Therapy Program
Are you a pet therapist that would like to volunteer yourself and your pet to brighten the day of our Hospice patients and their caregivers?
QUALIFICATIONS
- The therapy pet must have a pet therapy certification and provide document of completion.
- The volunteer/handler must be at least 18 years of age, complete all requirements of the volunteer program and comply with the requirements and qualifications outlined in the volunteer job description.
- The therapy pet must have liability insurance and provide the policy declaration and coverage dates.
- The therapy pet must be current with rabies and all required vaccinations and provide documentation of an annual health report from the veterinarian. For more information please feel free to reach out.
