Description

Covenant House Alaska is to be the leader, through collaboration with the community, to provide compassionate, sustainable services and shelter to homeless or at-risk youth in Alaska.

Youth experiencing homelessness have rights.

The right to a home.

The right to food.

The right to guidance.

The right to an education.

The right to be free from sexual, emotional, or physical abuse.

The right to be free from exploitation.

Youth experiencing homelessness have the right to be safe, and most importantly, to be loved.

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 21
  • Orientation or Training
  • Timing can be flexible with your availability. We would ideally establish a weekly commitment for at least 6 months.
  • Volunteers must complete a volunteer form, interview, and onboarding process. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or completion of medical/religious exemption process also required.
