The perfect at-home volunteer opportunity for you and your friends! Our kitchen team makes sure there is hot soup available to youth 24/7 so that no matter what time someone walks through our doors, there is food ready. Volunteers can make soup at home and drop it off at our front desk any time. You'll also receive a donation receipt for tax purposes.
Soup should be packaged in gallon size Ziploc bags, frozen, and labeled with the contents and date. Staff will defrost as needed.

Description
Covenant House Alaska is to be the leader, through collaboration with the community, to provide compassionate, sustainable services and shelter to homeless or at-risk youth in Alaska.
Youth experiencing homelessness have rights.
The right to a home.
The right to food.
The right to guidance.
The right to an education.
The right to be free from sexual, emotional, or physical abuse.
The right to be free from exploitation.
Youth experiencing homelessness have the right to be safe, and most importantly, to be loved.
