Incarcerated youth of color can no longer be released just to go back into the system. This only serves to increase the recidivism rate. Take Trips Mentally, Emotionally, & Spiritually (TTMES) is here to remove the barriers that prevent this population from seeking positive outcomes.
TTMES is searching for an intern/volunteer for our Web Designer position. Our non-profit organization is seeking an individual to maintain our website. They would have an eye for designs, and able to ensure the website is updated weekly and appealing. We need a volunteer with good written skills and who is a team player. Some of the weekly tasks would include but are not limited to, creating a monthly newsletter, creating weekly blogs, and monthly google site updates. Preferred experience with the Go Daddy platform. Lastly, they must have a passion for our cause and making a difference for the community we serve.

TTMES stands for "Take Trips Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually."
As the recidivism rate among youth continues to rise, we must ask ourselves, "how do we deal with negative starts that don't steer us to positive travels?"
When youth of color are released from incarceration or detention centers, they often lack adequate support systems, care, and guidance. TTMES is here to remove the many barriers that prevent positive outcomes. We aim to empower youth of color and provide the tools necessary to heal from the damage of the incarceration system. We are committed to healing the hurt and providing the foundation that they need to succeed.
