Want to volunteer and help out our amazing Food Services team with food prep? Union Station Homeless Services needs you!
Union Station Homeless Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, who is committed to helping individuals and families rebuild their lives and discover permanent solutions to ending homelessness.
This kitchen service volunteer shift is an integral part of maintaining an efficient and successful kitchen and meal program for our Adult Center, so please consider volunteering to help!
We have shifts available at our Adult Center everyday of the week!
- 7:00am - 9:30am | Monday - Sunday
- 10:30am - 1:30pm | Monday - Sunday
- 12:30pm - 3:00pm | Monday - Friday
Requirements:
- Volunteers must attend an online volunteer orientation. You can sign up for our virtual orientation on our website - unionstationhs.org
-Volunteers must provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19
- Please note that there is an age requirement for volunteering in the kitchen. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed in the kitchen at any time. Volunteers must be at least 13 years old with a chaperone, 16 to volunteer without. We ask that you please wear closed toed shoes and long pants for your safety and protection.

Description
We need volunteers to help support our kitchen staff with cooking, serving, and cleaning. Volunteers are integral to providing much needed donation items to our clients.
