YSA and its member clubs rely on volunteers for nearly all of its operations. When parents show up at a field for their child's practice or a game, they may not realize the hundreds of hours of volunteer time that went into making it all happen. It literally takes an army of volunteers to organize a soccer season for 13,000 kids!

If you would like advice or assistance or if you have any questions, you contact SYSA directly and we'll be happy to direct you.

Mission Statement

"It is the mission of Seattle Youth Soccer Association to foster the physical, mental and emotional growth of all children looking to play soccer in the Cities of Seattle and Shoreline. We strive to provide safe, educational and fun environments for all players to develop skills through the sport of soccer, at all levels of competency and ages." -The SYSA Board

Description

Seattle Youth Soccer Association is a nonprofit governance organization that brings support and soccer opportunities at all levels of the play to children aged 5-19 across the two cities. Our organization is comprised of 12 neighborhood clubs that facilitate recreational soccer, 1 citywide club that oversees regional select and premier programs as well as 1 citywide TOPSoccer program (soccer for players with disabilities). Additionally, we run our annual City Tournament, Recreational level leagues, player skills clinics and several soccer outreach programs.

When you play Seattle Youth Soccer Association, you are doing more than playing a sport; you are becoming a part of a soccer family with over 13,000 members across the city. You are choosing a soccer program that focuses on age-appropriate training and player-centric development. You are choosing a soccer program that will develop your player physically, mentally and emotionally.
