Carrboro Recreation, Parks & Cultural Resources Department, the Town of Chapel Hill Community Arts & Culture the Chapel Hill- Carrboro City Schools Office of Equity and Inclusion are collaborating on this community celebration of Black freedom, culture, and history.
The event starts at 4pm and ends at 8pm we are seeking volunteers to assist with set-up, clean up during, kids activities there will be entertainment, food trucks, black owned small business vendors non profit exposes and more. For event details check www.chapelhillcarrborojuneteenth.com

Description
The Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department strives to offer something for everyone no matter age or interest. A wide variety of programs and events are offered year round. Whether you are a toddler, a youth, a teenager, an athlete, a traveler, an adult, or a senior, the Department has a palette of programs available. Year round athletic leagues for youth and adults are available, like youth baseball and basketball, adult softball and ultimate Frisbee just to name a few. Adults can take a day trip, enjoy a hike, or participate in dance, zumba, yoga or nia. For youth, there are an endless amount of summer camps and year round activities like toddler playtime, young gymnast, dancing and art programs.
