ORGANIZATION: National Park Service
Please visit the new page to apply.
Stonewall National Monument is a new National Park Service site and the first designated as a LGBTQ+ site. The site primarily tells the story of the Stonewall Uprising on June 28th, 1969. Being the first LGBTQ+ site, the site also tells the broader quest for LGBTQ+ civil rights. This position would assist in the social media and web presence of this new, one-of-a-kind site by working closely with Stonewall Rangers. This site requires a minimum of 4 service hours biweekly, but a schedule can be agreed upon with site volunteer coordinator. Projects will be determined on a case-by-case basis. A good working computer is required.
