Looking for a way to get Bright Futures, Club or Service Hours? Want to expand your resume? Want to volunteer as a family? Want to have an opportunity to make a difference in your community? Come join us at Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds, aka "HART"!
Horse experience is not required! All training to work around the horses is provided. Also, if you are not interested in working around the horses, we have many other volunteer opportunities helping in a number of ways including fundraising planning, digital design, administrative support, and facilities maintenance and improvement - just to name a few.
We will work with your schedule. Monthly orientation and training opportunities are offered, but we can also do one-on-one training as well. Our orientation and training dates can be found on our website: https://hartforhorses.org.

Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds (HART) works hand-in-hand with our partners in the horse racing industry to provide a safe place for former racehorses to rest, rehabilitate, and retrain for new careers. While a Thoroughbred's racing career is often short, these young and athletic horses have plenty more to offer the world.
At HART, horses are prepared for a new home and career, whether they have recently retired from the racetrack or been found in need of interim care.
