Vice President: The Vice President works with the board of directors and other senior executives of the organization, the vice president plans, develops and enforces policies and objectives for the organization to ensure it maintains its values and meets established goals.
● Responsible for assisting the Executive Director with maintaining operations for the company to ensure that it's running properly and effectively.
● Attend Monthly Meetings with Board Members and Community Partners
● engages businesses and citizens to support the cause or mission of the organization.
● Works with Fundraiser Specialist on fundraising ideas, implementing fundraising events
and personal involvement with the fundraising activities are important duties of the
vice-president
● A non-profit vice-president ensures that all finances are being maintained according to
state and federal regulations.
● Compiles periodic reports outlining the finances and operational successes or failures of
the organization. The reports are submitted to the board of directors and other top
executives on an annual, semi-annual or quarterly basis.
● Meet a fundraising goal of $500 a year. ( May vary)

To enlighten and encourage young women to achieve their goals. Promote continued mentorship for successive generations.

Description

Since 2012, we have been piloting the SWAG program with a group of girls and have seen dramatic improvements in the ways in which they view the world around them. The SWAG program provides students with access to mentoring services by highly trained professionals from backgrounds such as: social work, psychology, law, education, business and behavioral health, along with life skills training through multiple workshops, and college prep, throughout the year.
