ORGANIZATION: FOREVER FORTUNATE FELINES
Hello wonderful volunteers!
We have wonderful store locations where are cats have adoption centers at PetCo and PetSmart.
We are looking for an overall store coordinator who can help us coordinate getting cats to our stores and organizing our store volunteers. This is a leadership volunteer role. And a person with Project/Program Management skills would be a great match!
The primary responsibilities are:
1) Interact with store management to keep them informed
2) Work with our fosters and other volunteers to identify foster cats ready to move to a store location
3) Work with our medical review team to ensure foster cats have had all their medical completed prior to moving to a store location
4) Help to organize signage, strategies for getting new volunteers to the store location.
5) Other misc. tasks to help keep the stores running smoothly
This leadership/coordination role can be done remotely or in person.

Forever Fortunate Felines is a foster based cat rescue. Michela Onesti who is the President of Forever Fortunate Felines started her journey into cat rescue when she lost her cat Giles. Giles went outside one day and never returned. Michela searched for years for Giles and during her search, she visited many animal shelters such as Chicago Animal Care and Control. When she saw the number of cats in desperate need of rescue from high kill shelters, she was motivated to take action! And in Giles memory, Michela started Forever Fortunate Felines.
