Come build side by side with our Honolulu Habitat for Humanity families and volunteers! While home construction and renovation isn’t the only way to serve at Honolulu Habitat, it is a big part of what we do. Volunteering on the jobsite is perfect for those who want to get their hands dirty - and it’s great for team-building, too!
What we're looking for: Individuals and groups to volunteer a few hours of their time to work hands-on at a construction jobsite under the guidance of a site-supervisor. We welcome individuals, corporations, military and community groups, faith congregations, and many more to join us in building safe, affordable homes in our community.
When we need it: We build every Friday and Saturday at various locations across Oahu (frequently in the Waimanalo area). Specific dates and times vary and are frequently updated on our website. Please visit https://honoluluhabitat.org/volunteer/ to register for a specific date and to learn more about our current volunteer opportunities.
Requirements:No experience necessary! All levels of experience are welcome to volunteer. Please note that volunteers must be 16+.
About Honolulu Habitat: Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Honolulu Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1988 as an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat to build or improve a place they can call home. Description
Honolulu Habitat for Humanity (HHH) is a non-profit affordable housing organization that partners with families in Honolulu County to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Our goal is to eliminate poverty housing on Oahu by building and preserving safe, affordable housing.
