Non-profit organization seeking someone to mentor, advocate and support high school exchange students in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The ideal candidate for this STS Foundation Local Coordinator position is someone who is compassionate, responsible, a good listener, enjoys working with youth and families and loves to learn about others!
Our high school exchange students are between 15 and 18 years of age, they live with a qualified host family and attend the local high school.

Description
STS Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting understanding, respect, and goodwill among the people of all nations. Since its founding in 1986, it has placed hundreds of foreign high school exchange students from over forty countries in American high schools with American host families who act as these students' hosts for an academic year or semester in the US.
STS Foundation is affiliated with STS Education Group in Europe. STS Education is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. STS Foundation is located in Laguna Beach, California with Regional Directors, Regional Coordinators, and Local Coordinators operating throughout the US to support host families, students, and schools. Recognized as a leading organization in the student exchange industry, STS Foundation strictly adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Council of Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET) and the regulations for exchange visitors established by the United States Department of State.
