The Community Heritage Center is looking for volunteers to help us preserve and showcase our local history. If you're passionate about your community and interested in learning more about its rich heritage, we'd love to have you on board! Whether you have experience in museum curation or simply enjoy interacting with people, there are opportunities for everyone. Join us in this important work of preserving our past for future generations. If you are interested in one of these opportunities and are available anytime between 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, please call (559) 299-0471. Flexible hours available and training is provided.
The Clovis Veterans Memorial District operates the Community Heritage Center, located at 320 Veterans Parkway, Clovis (on the corner of Third Street and Veterans Parkway in Old Town Clovis). The Community Heritage Center offers an interactive, educational experience showcasing Clovis history with a focus on recognizing the region’s and nation’s veteran community. The 5,000 sq. ft. facility includes stories told through immersive graphics, interactive kiosks, unique artifacts, and state-of-the-art technology. The Heritage Center is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM-5 PM.

Description
We are a special district that is devoted to building memorials to veterans. We currently operate a large rental venue- including an auditorium, a ball room, and many other smaller rooms for rent. Our Community Heritage Center serves as an educational center to present and preserve regional history, with an emphasis on veterans of the community, to communicate the broader story of the United States veterans through rotating exhibits and technology.
