From truck crews to client assistants, office support to fundraising, we have plenty of volunteer opportunities!

Truck Drivers & Crew members needed! If you can lift at least 50 lbs. and are 18 years or older, we’ve got a worthwhile volunteer opportunity for you!

Household Goods is looking for new volunteers to help pick up donations and load and unload furniture. Available shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 8:45am to noon.

Household Goods is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization located at 530 Main Street in Acton that provides a full range of household items free of charge to people in need. Household Goods is an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Acton, MA that provides household goods, free of charge, to people in need.

Description

We accept donations of gently used household items that will help people make a home. Our volunteers receive, sort and distribute items to individuals and families from over 130 communities in eastern Massachusetts. As an organization staffed by volunteers, we depend on the generosity of community members for goods, time and financial support.
