Elara Caring Hospice, one of the nation's largest providers of home-based care, is looking for compassionate, artistic volunteers to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families. Our Holding Hands program is unique. Our clinical team provides a hard copy photo of our patient's hands, or our patient and their family holding hands. Our Holding Hands Sketch artist volunteer would be responsible for sketching a black and white copy of the photo. Elara Caring would provide all supplies needed. This opportunity can be done remotely. We prefer the sketches to be done on a canvas, or other hard paper stock surface. The memento is then framed given to the patient or the patient's family. We offer a flexible schedule.
