Give Kids Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides assistance to less fortunate children and families on Long Island. We operate a Thrift store and donation center on Main St. In Port Jefferson, and all proceeds go directly to continuing our mission. We provide outreach services, an on-site food pantry, and other necessities and services completely free to those in need. We offer free monthly events, such as paint and craft nights, birthday assistance, holiday assistance, and we provide donations and support to local shelters on Long Island. We are a small organization and cannot operate without assistance from our amazing volunteers. We need your help in order to continue our mission and provide these services in our community. We are seeking volunteers at all skill levels for a variety of projects, such as retail assistance in our Thrift store and food pantry, donation processing, assistance during our community and outreach events, fundraising efforts, and more. We have in-person and virtual opportunities and our Port Jefferson location is open Tuesday-Saturday, from 11 to 6. We are extremely flexible and are accepting volunteers on both a scheduled basis or as your schedule allows. We look forward to seeing you soon!
