Give Kids Hope operates a Thrift Store and Donation Center in Port Jefferson to assist residents in need. Volunteers are needed to help organize/clean the store, sort through donations to identify items to either sell in the Thrift Store or donate to families in need; stock and organize shelves, break down cardboard boxes for disposal; Light lifting, and some physical work may be required at times. Hours of operation are Tuesday- Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm and volunteer schedules are flexible.

To provide financial assistance, outreach, and community services to children with cancer, their families, and other underserved children and families on Long Island.
Description
Give Kids Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides assistance to less fortunate children and families on Long Island. Our outreach center, food pantry, and other necessities are completely free to those in need. We offer free monthly events, birthday assistance, holiday assistance, and provide support to local shelters on Long Island. Our funding comes from generous donations and sales at our Thrift Store, and we were able to help 25,000 families in 2021!
