VITAS Healthcare is looking for Patient Care Volunteers to visit patients on hospice residing in long- term care facilities, nursing homes and in their own homes in Maryland Heights, MO 63043. This includes Stonebridge Maryland Heights located at 2963 Doddridge Ave., Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
Patient Care Volunteers offer companionship, play music, games, read to patients and help in other meaningful ways. Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care through offering individualized support services. Please note that all Volunteer applicants in patient facing positions are required to have completed their COVID vaccinations prior to hire in order volunteer at VITAS.
Volunteers visit VITAS patients to provide specific, non- medical care through socialization and friendly visits. VITAS Healthcare provides comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering. Days and times for volunteering are flexible according to your availability.
