Here at Compassion Hospice, we are committed to working with each person on an individual basis. We want to build a mutually beneficial relationship in which you, our valued volunteer, use your strengths; passions and dedication to not only benefit Compassion Hospice, but to positively enhance your own life. We have two offices, Beaumont and Jasper that covering various counties (Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, Newton, Jasper, Chamber, Tyler...)
Social visits-visiting patients to offer them companionship and support. Activities such as, but not limited to:
¨ Games ¨ Music ¨ Get their story ¨ Yard work ¨ Gardening ¨ Crafts ¨ Veterans to Veterans visits
¨ Run errands ¨ Mail cards ¨ Make calls ¨ Assemble gifts ¨ Bilingual assistance
You're able to:
¨ Set your own hours ¨ Set your own location(s) ¨ Set your own activities
¨ Can go as a couple ... with a friend ... as a group ... individually ... ¨ Work around your own schedule .. Events.. ¨ Can easily reschedule
¨ Men and women needed.

We’re committed to developing a center for excellence in compassionate hospice care and community-wide grief and bereavement services. Our local leadership allows us to devote more resources to providing a world-class hospice experience for Southeast Texas’ terminally ill and their families regardless of their ability to pay. To that end we’ve given over $2 million in care to those who would otherwise be unable to pay for their care.

Compassion Hospice is an in network provider for most insurance companies, accepts TexanPlus , HealthSpring and most other Medicare Advantage Plans. We’re also licensed by Medicare and Medicaid. Furthermore, we never deny treatment based on a patient’s ability to pay for services.
