The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows needs volunteers for Olympic Day, July 8th, 2022!
Olympic Day brings together youth from Boys & Girls Clubs throughout northern Nevada to build healthy lifestyles, learn new sports and games and have an incredible experience. As part of a nationwide movement, Olympic Day at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows features local Olympic athletes who speak to and work with Club members. Kids participate in sports ranging from track and field to dodge ball, all while learning that hard work, good sportsmanship, and an overall healthy lifestyle are the keys to success.
Volunteers are needed from approximately 8am to 3pm. Event will be held at Reno High School, 395 Booth St, Reno, NV 89509.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is to enhance the quality of life for children, ages 6-18, in the Truckee Meadows. Description
As a Volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club you are an important part of our organization. You will be acting as a mentor, helping our members, and serving as role model for youth in our community. Volunteers must attend an orientation before volunteering with us as well as have a background check completed. Volunteering opportunities include but are not limited to: tutoring and homework help, science and math classes, computers, arts and crafts, dance, music and choir, photography, drama, chess, legos, sewing, scrapbooking, basketball, soccer, coaching, and refereeing.
