Volunteering with AdvisaCare includes visiting, reading, walking, talking, watching tv, and spending time with patients! You can help provide support for family members who may be overwhelmed.
Do you have special interest or talents? We are always looking for ways to make our patients day. Creating cards, performing music concerts or providing a haircut are just some of the ways you can make a patient feel special.
Our patient's are located throughout the valley. Some patients live in their private homes while others may be in a facility. We reach out to patients where ever they call home.
The volunteer process consists of an application, background check, orientation and training. This process ensures safety for our patients. This also allows our volunteers to be prepared for working with a patient on hospice.

Description
Arizona Physicians Care Hospice provide comfort and support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Care is provided in a patient's home-whether that be their residence an assisted living facility, or a nursing home. There are many kinds of volunteers. All hospice volunteers are given assignments that best fit their time, skills, and interest.
We are a Medicare certified hospice that aims to make patients as comfortable as possible.
