Join us to remove litter from the Tyger River Basin by land and water! Stay dry by removing litter on land, put on your waders and help out along the banks or put your canoe or kayak to good use in Berrys Pond!
We will collect litter and track our findings for the South Carolina Aquarium's Litter Free Digital Journal. This litter sweep will last about 2 hours.
Bring your water bottle! We recommend wearing long pants and boots. We'll supply trash bags, data collection materials, litter grabbers, and safety vests. There are no restroom facilities at Tygerberry Landing.

Mission Statement
We promote, protect and restore the natural and historic resources of the Tyger River Basin and encourage an active outdoor lifestyle.
Description
The Foundation was formed to address a void in our operating area of a local, unified organization with our mission. A group of concerned citizens took on the challenge and established the Tyger River Foundation in 2007. The Foundation brings a focused, long-term vision and sustainable plan to protect, promote and restore the Tyger River Basin for public use and enjoyment. The Foundation's efforts protect and conserve land within the Tyger River Basin, increase opportunities for healthy, active living, improve environmental literacy, and boost Spartanburg's economic engine through tourism.
