COMMUNICATIONS PHOTOGRAPHER: Assist the Red Cross in delivering mission by taking and sharing photos to showcase the Red Cross at work. Responsibilities include:

  • Willingness to support the Red Cross mission
  • Taking photos at events, trainings, and disaster responses; highlighting VIPs and people of interest
  • Capturing portraits, candids, and/or studio shots to tell the Red Cross story of service delivery
  • Culling, editing, captioning, and uploading your photos to online sharing accounts
  • Sharing select photos in a timely manner with Communications Department leadership
  • Treating all clients, volunteers, and partners with dignity and respect; always obtaining required photos releases
  • Organizing and delivering documentation, captions, quotes, and photo releases
COMMUNICATIONS VIDEOGRAPHER: Assist the Red Cross in delivering mission by taking and sharing videos showcase the Red Cross at work. Responsibilities include:
  • Willingness to support the Red Cross mission
  • Taking videos at events, trainings, and disaster responses; highlighting VIPs and people of interest
  • Creating mission moment videos that tell the Red Cross story
  • Treating all clients, volunteers, and partners with dignity and respect; always obtaining required photo releases
  • Organizing and delivering documentation, captions, quotes, and photo releases
  • Editing footage into allotted timeframe
