ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Our Donation Exchange program allows us to use good quality donated furniture and household items and provide them to many at risk clients. Many of those we serve have recently been housed after a stint of homelessness and we work with many different social service agencies in town to help their clients.

Volunteers are needed for the following tasks

  • Making and receiving phone calls
  • Transporting donations in Salvation Army provided vehicles
  • Sorting and logging donations received
Over 10,000 items were given out throughout 2021!

This year we are adding a box truck to our services and expanding!
