Mission: Seed House Project aids and inspires Transitional Age Youth in the Los Angeles area who are experiencing homelessness by providing a success-driven live/workspace, access to education, and individualized mentorship

Seed House Project (SHP) provides transitional living for Young adults and serves as a safe
environment where individuals are treated with dignity and respect. SHP approaches the view
of right living, focusing on the here and now, honesty, social responsibility and economic
self-reliance.


Our youth are in need of weekly meals, and we are looking for individuals that can help offset financial stress for our youth. Once a week we are looking for groups of two that can cook and prepare hot meals for our residence. This will be a commitment of 3 months. Seed House Project will be providing materials and food that is needed for meals prepared. Volunteers will be preparing hot meals to up to 16 members. The volunteers that cook for dinner will also be creating enough for packaged meals for lunch.

The Seed House Project is an organization that provides food, clothing, shelter, and employment oppurtunities to the homeless.

Description

We are designing a 6 month program that is designed to serve as a platform for new opportunity while providing leadership and organization skills for individuals. The Seed House Project is designed to provide relief for the long term. Therefore in addition to feeding and clothing we are going to provide a house for 4 homeless individuals and spend 6 months training and helpingthem for the world menatlly physically and spiritually.
