ORGANIZATION: Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service

We are seeking volunteer readers who will spend about one hour per week providing recorded readings from local newspapers, magazines, books and other printed materials. They will be broadcast and listened to by blind and sight-impaired individuals throughout Western and Central New York, Southern Ontario, and beyond. We're not looking for professional readers! Our Listeners describe it as having a loved one sitting next to them reading. If you love to read and want to help those that can't, this might be for you!

This is a virtual opportunity that can be accomplished from any internet connected device. We are, however, primarily interested in volunteers from our immediate service area (Western/Central New York State, Ontario, Canada).

If you don't choose to read but still want to help, our not-for-profit organization is completely dependent on donations to remain viable. It costs about $115/year to bring this service to one listener. Please consider a tax-deductible donation so they can keep listening!
