Reporting to the Meta volunteer of the People Management Team and the Sr. Training & Development Specialist. The Training and Development Specialist is an integral part in the success of Match4Action. The Training and Development Specialist works in a collaborative team environment and uses instructional design and adult learning methodologies to analyze volunteer training needs, and conduct organization-wide tracking of all trainings. This requires interacting with all volunteers
Responsibilities
Identify and formulate the learning strategy of the organization.
Assist with the design and execute learning activities that are engaging and support learning objectives of the organization.
Conduct feedback surveys, focus groups, interviews and observations to identify training needs.
Collaborate with other teams to implement training presentations to engage and develop our volunteers (Design of engaging training modules basis various target groups).
Conduct various training and development presentations that are in place.
Evaluate, track training hours, % Volunteer coverage, follow-up on programs to ensure goal accomplishments and business outcomes.
Qualifications Preferred
Minimum of 5 hours volunteer engagement per week.
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience working in Human Resources preferred; with training and development experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-starter, able to work virtually, independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
Comfortable working in a startup phase non-profit organization.
