Did you know that there are thousands of foods and herbs that can impact our mental health in positive ways? CrowdDoing is a global virtual collaboration to research medicinal foods for stress, sleep and anxiety. Our project has the goal of advancing integration across fields of research and to build medicinal foods literacies in the population. We're recruiting virtual volunteer service learning project managers.


This role is for Medicinal Foods, Medicinal Foods Service Learning Micro-Leadership Project Management. CrowdDoing aims to make each role flexible, allowing you to become engaged according to your own schedule. Using extensive research methodologies, you will perform detailed research in your assigned field, analyze the gathered data, and present your findings. This researcher plays a vital role in sourcing and extracting valuable market information to benefit our organization.


Medicinal Foods for Stress, Sleep and Anxiety is recruiting virtual volunteer marketing volunteer Researcher Duties and Responsibilities Marketing Manager Volunteer Summary

We are currently seeking an ambitious and marketing manager with a track record of exceptional, transformative management practices. Candidates for this role will be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices.


CrowdDoing is currently seeking a UX (user experience) designer volunteer for our growing medicinal foods team The UX Designer will work closely with our lead developer and graphic artists to measure and optimize applications to improve ease of use and create the best user experience.


The UX designer will also be responsible for conducting user tests to observe behavior both in-person and by using UX toolsets and metrics. Following testing, the UX designer will refine and tweak apps, software and websites to create a digital experience that the users will like and find easy to use.


UX Designer Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluating existing applications and evaluating their UX (user experience) effectiveness

Measuring the human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design

Using online tools, such as screen readers to determine effectiveness of media

Conducting user testing of applications, software and websites

Creating and implementing interaction models, user flows, and user interface specifications

Communicating scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs with other members of the team

Developing and maintaining design wireframes and specifications of best practices to share with design team as new projects begin.

UX Designer Requirements and Qualifications

BS Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Architecture or similar

Masters preferred

Excellent IT and programming skills

5-6+ years in Engineering or User Experience Design

Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web based applications, mobile applications & consumer facing web sites and/or applications

Interest in constantly keeping up-to-date of latest trends, best practices and competitive activity

Ability to work well with ambiguity or when requirements are still in flux

Proven experience showing clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology requirements, and business goals

Artistic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

Excellent organizational, time and project management skills

An understanding of the latest design and technology trends and their role in a commercial environment

Business-minded approach to time, costs and deadlines
