Cleanups are outside and safe! You can bring a mask to wear if you wish when we first meet. We meet up at 9:00am at the designated location to grab supplies and to send volunteers to different areas for clean-up (along roadways where "Welcome to Brooklyn" signs are located or within our parks). We advise volunteers to wear comfortable & weather appropriate clothing/shoes & bring water. We've got everything else needed for the clean-up!

Mission Statement

We envision Brooklyn to be a clean, green, and beautiful place to live.

Keep Brooklyn Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful through the City of Brooklyn. Started as simply community cleanups, we’ve now partnered with other community organizations for cleanups, flower planting, mural painting, and more! Community cleanups occur from May-October on weekends and are always looking for more volunteers to help out!
