Free Juice: What Is It?

Free Juice, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit created by forward-thinking innovator Allison Retina Stewart, is influencing equity in the photography industry through mentorship of black and POC professionals following the dream of advancing a passion for photography into a thriving career. Free Juice will be by your side with networking, resources, and guidance through each step of your journey into this incredible industry. Your challenges resonate deeply with us, and we want to support you as you attain your degree and build your brand (up to ten years post-grad).

Together we will disrupt the industry and accelerate diversity.

Marketing Events Volunteer:

We are announcing our membership program October 2022. Our Marketing / Events / Community Outreach volunteer will translate our membership program outline into an actionable marketing strategy.

* Develop newsletter copy
* Develop communication type (email, social post, postcard) + objective and the strategy of each
* Propose visual using Constant Contact

About You:

You are a remarkable individual that lives in the brands you lead. You will have demonstrable and exceptional problem-solving skills, along with an entrepreneurial and start-up driven spirit. You have passion for the brands you lead, drive, and nurture, as if they were your own. Ideally, you will have a deep passion and knowledge for photography, nonprofits, and possess a genuine giving spirit. You are a natural community & relationship builder that looks for every opportunity to bring people together. You are resourceful in your approach to problem solving, and adapt well to the organization's processes.

The role comes with the need for a strategic and creative thinker that is comfortable working in cross functional settings both as a leader and a player.

What we provide you with:

Volunteering with Free Juice in this critical role is a generational opportunity to contribute to building a generation of skilled photo professionals. You will have access to the movers & shakers of the photo industry. You will develop professional practice skills applicable to all industries.

Notes:

This volunteer opportunity is 100% remote, and most communication will happen via email, Slack, and Zoom. You are more than welcome to attend a Free Juice event in one of our major cities: Houston, Los Angeles, New York City and Atlanta.
