We know that cycling improves quality of life in people living with Parkinson’s. But if you’re new to the sport, signing up for an on-road ride can be intimidating. Participants who ride with Team DPF at Tour de Victory, join an amazing community of supporters, people with Parkinson’s, caregivers and friends of the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's.
Tour de Victory is a 20K, 50K, 100K, and gravel ride through the Boulder County countryside, and is designed to be accessible and welcoming to riders of all abilities. We're looking for volunteers to help support the ride on Saturday, May 20, including start/finish line support, on-course route marshals and aid station volunteers.
To learn more, please email Rebecca Reifel, Events and Development Manager at the Davis Phinney Foundation, at rreifel@dpf.org. Please note that you are interested in volunteering for Tour de Victory on May 20.

Mission Statement
The Davis Phinney Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease today.
Description
The truth is, Parkinson’s can strip people of momentum and hope. At the Davis Phinney Foundation, we're committed to helping people with PD and their caregivers find new ways to improve their lives today. We constantly look for ways to motivate and inspire people with PD. And in the process, we are continually inspired ourselves. Every day we meet people exploring new ways to live better with the disease. We've met people who are climbing mountains, running marathons, and even riding their bikes across the country. And we've met people who find victory in walking around the block. Because, in the end, it's not the size of the victory, but the recognition of it that counts. The motivation behind it. The inspiration it can provide to others. In the end, it's about what we can do today to improve lives. And that is a victory in itself.
At the DPF we inspire and inform people living with Parkinson’s through:
- Information on how to live well with PD
- Investment in research that can improve quality of life
- Impact on the lives of people with PD through funding of exercise and speech programs
- Encouragement of those impacted by the disease to celebrate the daily victories in their lives
