Recruiting Organization: St. Francis Neighborhood Center

Join The Community Presents Inc., a Baltimore-based a Baltimore-based organization with a passion driven mission to build the capacity of individuals, communities, and organizations through frameworks and tools that increase social connection and promote healing and wellness, and St Francis Neighborhood Center in celebrating the coveted annual Freedom Day Juneteenth Celebration in Reservoir Hill.

In the summer of 2021, the Reservoir Hill Community in collaboration with other Baltimore communities and organizations felt compelled to enhance the health and vitality of Baltimore City residents through a Juneteenth celebration. The event was highly successful in several areas: alliance building, fundraising, attendance, community revitalization, and peace promotion.

We are hosting our annual Freedom Day Festival on Sunday June 19, 2022 at German Park in Reservoir Hill. We are focused on family strengthening and resource connection.

We are looking for volunteers to help provide the person power behind the day's celebration.
