Pacific Opera Project is the most innovative opera company in Los Angeles! Our small but mighty administrative team produces "accessible, affordable, and entertaining" opera all throughout LA.
Not only do we create vibrant and groundbreaking works of art on stage, but we also have an up-and-coming education program for kids of all ages.
Join the fun and volunteer with POP! The opportunities are endless and they all include beautiful music and unforgettable parties. Some volunteer needs include:
- Painting or decorating a set
- Helping out in the costume department
- POP Instagram Takeovers
- Working with kids in our school and afterschool programs
- Picking professional opera singers up from the airport [carpool karaoke not required :)]
- Helping out our Stage Manager or work in the box office on show days
If you have a special skill, put it to work! Or volunteer with POP to build out your resume and learn more about our company. And every volunteer always gets free tickets to shows and invites to exclusive POP parties.

Pacific Opera Project was founded in July of 2011. Our vision is that in the future, opera will become a greater part of popular culture, as we develop a larger local community of opera lovers and launch the careers of opera makers. LA Weekly called POP the "best opera company in Los Angeles" in 2018.
