Community Hospice

Our mission is to honor life by providing Peace, Hope and Compassion to those we serve.

Fidget Mats

Fidget Mats are a great tool to decrease anxiety in people battling Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Terminal Agitation and other stress and anxiety disorders. Currently, we here at the Columbiana Office of Community Hospice are in great need of talented crafters to supply our patients with these useful homemade items. Mats can be the size of a place mat, sewn onto or into a pillowcase, or even a blanket. They can include different textures and activities but please remember these items are generally going to adult patients so be mindful when selecting fabrics and items to attach. Crafters do not have to live in the Columbiana County area but must be able to deliver or ship their complete projects to our Salem, OH office.

Community Hospice volunteers are an essential part of our hospice team. Donations from our community and beyond can bring a ray of sunshine to the lives of our patients and their families. We appreciate the love and hard work you put into each item you send to our Hospice families
