COME INTERN WITH THE PLANO POLICE DEPARTMENT! We are currently accepting fall unpaid intern applications. This internship will provide individuals an opportunity to get real-life experience and gain a better understanding of all the aspects of a police department. Applications for Fall semester are due June 1.

The Plano Police Department offers non-paying internships during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Interns gain valuable on-the-job training, work experience, and have an opportunity to network with professionals in the field. Our goal is to familiarize the intern with all aspects of a police department. Interns will be placed within various departments such as investigations, patrol, detention, communications,
crime prevention, crime scene, and more!
Requirements: Pass a criminal background investigation. Pass a Polygraph test. Enrolled in a high
school or accredited university. Minimum GPA of 2.5.Cannot be under academic or scholastic probation. Commit a minimum of 125 hours
