New Treks is a nonprofit that strives to increase access to the outdoors for underprivileged youth. Our main program is an outdoor elective course for Title 1 schools and other educational organizations. We teach rock climbing, paddling, backpacking, team building, survival skills, and more during the school day. We are looking for someone to help with website design. We are currently two people and wear a lot of hats, so someone who can look at SEOs, website design and layout, and how to get more traffic would be greatly appreciated.

Our mission is to teach socioeconomically diverse youth the foundations of adventure so they can safely and confidently experience the outdoors.
Description
We strive to increase access to the outdoors for underprivileged youth. By partnering with schools to teach an outdoor elective course, we remove the barriers of time, money, knowledge, and gear for many of our students. Students also get credit for our course, which helps them towards graduation, while also going bouldering, climbing, paddling and more during the school day! We believe in the power of the individual and build strong connections with our students so that they can trust us while trying new activities. In addition, we incorporate social-emotional skills so students can grow in confidence, practice communication, and learn how to work in group settings. We are also offering affordable summer camps so more underprivileged youth can explore the outdoors!
