Hospice volunteering at a glance:
Socialization: Visiting patients helps ease social isolation.
Respite: Giving a caregiver a break gives them a chance to do things they need, to care for themselves better. They are able to go to a doctor's appointment, see a grandchild, do an activity, take a nap, have lunch with a friend, etc.
If you have one or two hours a week, we can find a place for you. Hours and days are flexible, and we fit into your schedule.
Sounds good? Give me a call or email me and we can talk more about this rewarding volunteering opportunity. My email is ccasson@avianthospice.com. Please check your spam file to see if I responded.
I look forward to meeting you!
