WarriorConnect gratefully has an online presence, especailly via Instagram (@warrior_connect). Through our Instagram, we help connect warriors worldwide, raise money for care packages, and spread awareness about various health conditions.

The social media specialist would collaborate and work closely with members of our Social Media Committee. They would play a key role in executing the posting schedule, posting to stories, responding to DMs as needed, and writing up our Warrior Highlights. They would work closely with our graphic design specialist and content creator to create posts, reels, and stories. There is also the opportunity to pursue advocacy work with this role if you choose to do so - such as starting a campaign, initiating an online movement, or facilitating lives.

The social media specialist plays an important role in our organization and we are looking for someone enthusiastic about this role! Not much prior experience is needed as we will work with you to teach you everything you need to know. However, you will be directly interacting with our community which primarily serves vulnerable populations - including those facing acute and/or chronic health obstacles. That said, compassionate and empathetic communication is crucial. Passion for healthcare or disability advocacy is a plus!

This role requires a commitment of 5-7 hours a week and a 1-year minimum commitment. We are happy to provide community service letters or reference letters during your time with us, as well as beyond.
