Treasurer. The Treasurer shall have custody of, and be responsible for, all funds and securities of the Corporation. He or she shall keep or cause to be kept complete and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements of the Corporation, with the assistance of the Board of Directors, and shall deposit all monies and other valuable property of the Corporation in the name and to the credit of the Corporation in such banks or depositories as the Board of Directors may designate. The Treasurer shall render a statement of accounts to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis. He or she shall at all reasonable times exhibit the books and accounts to any officer or director of the Corporation, and shall perform all duties incident to the office of Treasurer, subject to the supervision of the Board of Directors, and such other duties as shall from time to time be assigned by the Board, including taxes. The Treasurer shall ensure an annual CPA audit is performed and shall provide all required requested information in connection with the audit. The Treasurer shall work with the Board of Directors on an annual basis to create a budget for the organization.

Description
Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control is committed to saving animals' lives, ensuring equal access to companion animals for those of all socio-economic levels, and raising the level of care for animals living in the city of Detroit. We work hand in hand with Detroit Animal Care and Control to help the homeless animals at DACC and proactively keep animals out of our shelter in the first place.
