Mission Statement
At Nosreme Baltimore, we help local artists and chefs thrive and bring access to the arts and quality food to more Baltimoreans.
Description
The idea for Nosreme, Inspired by an early exploration of transcendentalism, our namesake Nosreme is "Emerson" spelled backward. The premise of a communal space woven with alternative societal experiences.
Our unique approach combines the warm feeling of a shared meal with unmatched experiences and engagement with the arts to create a sense of community and connectedness.
Today, we host a mosaic of events around Baltimore that enable local chefs and artists to get involved, such as pop-up restaurants with a unique art element. We aspire to reach as many art aficionados, foodies, and creatives as we can, turning strangers into friends. As we visit different neighborhoods, we’re gauging each event’s response to choose our brick-and-mortar location.
Tomorrow, we plan to establish a brick-and-mortar location. There, our resident chefs and artists will have community dinners, participate in international exchange trips, run unique classes, and host activities such as storytelling or chess. Together, we will usher in a brighter future for Baltimore.
Our goal is to establish our location by 2027 with short and long-term housing for (10) residents.CAUSE AREAS
