VOENA Children's Choir is a vibrant growing Bay Area based non-profit 501(c)3 organization which has been dazzling and inspiring audiences locally, nationally and internationally since 1994 with its a cappella performances. Our values of inclusivity, innovation, community and artistic development are woven into the fabric of our organization, benefit choir members, Board members and staff, as well as our audiences and communities.

VOENA is seeking to increase the diversity of its Board of Directors, to better align with our values. We welcome a broad range of backgrounds, experience and points of view to enrich our perspective, programs and internal operations. The Board member position is a volunteer, non-paid term of two (2) years.

Role of the Board member: 1) Attend Board meetings and actively chair and/or participate in committees; communicate with the Executive Director and other Board members; follow-through on assignments and support program initiatives; 2) All activities and decisions should be in the best interest of the organization, not in the best interest of any individual Board member; 3) Uphold the by-laws of the organization.
