Special Olympics in the Billings, or surrounding areas are actively searching for a Communications Coordinator. Do you have strengths in communicating, organization and have good people skills? If so, this position could be for you!

The COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR is responsible for communicating the progress, events, and daily activities of the local programs, and athletes within the Yellowstone Valley as well as to the general public. Managing the social media pages regularly to reflect current events and announcements for the local board, called the area management team and SOMT teams in the community.

Promoting the achievements of area athletes and volunteers by collecting stories and sharing them via social media and newsletter will allow all of our community to shine!


Experience communicating effectively with others verbally, in writing and via social media is helpful.

New coordinator orientation and ongoing training provided by Special Olympics Montana staff.
