There are many ways to serve your country. Honor and remember the veterans who gave us so much. Here is one of the many ways to volunteer with the National Cemetery Administration as an office volunteer at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery:

  • Answer phones at the Public Information Center.
  • Forward calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist walk in visitors with grave locations.
  • Provide information of daily burial schedule.
  • Take complaints and log observation reports.

Qualifications and/or Training Required:

  • Must have customer service experience.
  • Reliable and accountable.
  • Outgoing, courteous and good interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills and ability to research information.

A resume is not required but can be submitted before or during the initial new volunteer appointment with CDCE.

Minneapolis VA Health Care System is a teaching hospital providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, as well as education and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, tertiary care and long-term care in areas of medicine, surgery, psychiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics and extended care. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System provides for the health care needs of Veterans in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
