Recruiting Organization: STEM Montessori Academy of Canada

The STEM Montessori Academy of Canada is looking for an organized Career Development Coordinator to assist with practicum student onboarding and training.

The STEM Montessori Academy of Canada is a federally registered not for profit regional science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The STEM program educates students from preschool to high school and is available nationwide to all children. SMAC specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)


Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and coordination of practicum/internship student onboarding
  • Coordination of newly onboarded students' weekly orientation, reports, and presentations as needed, assist our program's growth and development.
  • Organize program communications among colleges, universities, and STEM Canada.
  • Keep track of all students' schedules, assignments, and evaluations.
  • Plan and organize meetings and events related to the program.
  • Make and keep program records, reports, and presentations.


Requirements:

Must have relevant degree or equivalent professional experience or life experience (however students or new graduates welcome to apply)

Career Development Coordinator must of have at least 6 months of experience with in high volume office

Experience working with diverse backgrounds

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong computer skills and technology abilities

Knowledge of SharePoint , ring central, zoom and additional apps.

Time commitment of approximant 5-10 per week ( asking for 6 months to one year commitment)
